Artist Statement
The Artist
My name is Rebeca and since I was very young, I have always had a passion for art. As is often the case after having children, life has a way of taking over. My schooling and professional career focused on Fashion Design and Costuming — for about two decades I worked on projects of all kinds for clients worldwide.
Fast forward to today, and many life changes later, I've rediscovered the importance that creating art has in my life. My original work is very much inspired by my lifestyle and interests — my love of creative expression and symbolism; aligning with my true self; and my continued growth into my higher self.
I truly believe creative expression through art is some of the best medicine for all.
